IMPORTANT NOTE : Upon arrival at the airport, locate an Orange Taxi (they are the official Taxi of the airport). It is the easiest and safest way to travel. When you exit the airport there will be a stand on the left to purchase tickets for the Orange Taxi. Purchase a ticket to go to HOTEL EL PEÑOL in ALAJUELA CENTRO. Your taxi cost will be reimbursed by the hotel. DON’T USE ANY OTHER TAXIS. YOU WILL BE PLACING YOURSELF IN DANGER.
